Sometimes knowing who you are doing business with can be as important as any business that is actually conducted. That’s why we’d like to introduce ourselves.

 

Robert (Bob) Ebbeka Jr., President and Founder

Bob founded Ebbeka Design in the Spring of 2001 after several years of performing design, pre-press and photography services with other area firms. His knack for thinking creatively without overlooking the details is more than just his design philosophy, it’s the foundation upon which the design firm thrives today. Bob is a graduate of the Fine Arts program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

 

Amy Ebbeka, Creative Director

As her husband’s design firm grew, it became apparent there was a place for Amy to join the company, so she did mid-2002. In addition to being a graduate of the Fine Arts Program from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, she has worked at a direct-marketing firm and was a freelance designer in Chicago. Before joining Ebbeka Design, Amy was an art director in one of the nation’s top advertising firms.

In 2007, Amy was named one of Lincoln's "40 Under 40" organized by the Lincoln Business Journal to honor 40 Lincoln area entrepreneurs, business executives and professional men and women under the age of 40.

 

Derek Bender, website developer

Derek is a web development enthusiast and has been building websites since the dawn of the internet. He is currently finishing his degree in Computer Science at The University of Nebraska at Lincoln. He has a passion for developing Ruby applications and is well versed in a plethora of other languages and platforms like PHP and Wordpress.

 

elyse Berkheim, Graphic Designer

Elyse has always had a passion for Graphic Design. It was that passion that took her to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where she studied advertising and graduated with a Bachelor of Journalism. Recently, Elyse has been a freelance graphic designer gaining experience in the field. She looks for creative inspiration all around her and funnels that into her design work.

 

brandon volf, Graphic designer

Brandon is studying Graphic Design at the University of Nebraska and working towards his Bachelor of Arts degree with an emphasis in Graphic Design and a minor in Spanish. Brandon is a talented designer with great attention to detail and is in charge of coming up with creative print and web design solutions for our clients.

 

Michaela Bradley, Graphic design intern

Michaela is a second year senior at the University of Nebraska where she studies graphic design and drawing. She has shown locally in galleries like Tugboat, contributed to the Art-O-Mat, and dabbled in the community arts. When she's not doodling in the corner of her notebooks or digitally sketching, she's drawing up plans for world domination. Her weapons of choice: a Wacom Bamboo pen and tablet, the "undo" button, and just a regular old drawing pencil and paper.
